Google Ads reporting

Read-only Google Ads reporting

Product prototypeExplorer Access

IndyStats is developing a read-only Google Ads reporting and measurement dashboard for advertising accounts that have explicitly linked to the IndyStats Google Ads manager account. IndyStats retrieves campaign performance for those authorized accounts and displays it over selectable date ranges.

The integration is in development under Explorer Access. Basic Access approval is a current project goal for higher-volume production reporting across manually linked client accounts.

Intended users

  • Businesses that have accepted a manager-link request from IndyStats and want reporting for their own Google Ads accounts.
  • Authorized IndyStats analysts preparing reports for those linked accounts.

Planned reporting data

  • Account and campaign names and statuses.
  • Impressions, clicks, click-through rate, and average cost per click.
  • Cost, conversions, cost per conversion, conversion value, and return on ad spend.
  • Daily performance and campaign-level breakdowns.

Synthetic demonstration data

Product prototype - all metrics and account names on this page are synthetic. No Google account is connected and no Google Ads API request is made when you view this demonstration.

What IndyStats will do

The planned reporting workflow is intentionally account-bound and read-only.

  1. A client provides its Google Ads customer ID to IndyStats.
  2. IndyStats sends a manager-account link request through Google Ads.
  3. An administrator on the client account accepts the request.
  4. An IndyStats service account authorized on the manager account reads reporting data for only active linked accounts.
  5. IndyStats stores normalized reporting rows in an access-controlled database.
  6. The dashboard displays aggregated metrics and trends.
  7. The client may unlink the manager account and request deletion of stored reporting data.

How access will work

IndyStats manually links consenting advertiser accounts beneath its manager account. This is an agency-style relationship, not a public OAuth marketplace or an unrestricted account connection flow.

The IndyStats service account is authorized on the manager account. The manager ID is sent as login_customer_id and the linked advertiser ID is sent as the operating customer_id, so reporting stays within the accepted manager hierarchy.

Only active, authorized links are eligible for reporting. A client administrator can remove access by unlinking the IndyStats manager account.

How data will be handled

For the planned live service, IndyStats will normalize reporting rows into an access-controlled database and restrict each linked account's reports to the client and authorized IndyStats analysts serving that client. Reporting data will not be sold.

Rows will be retained only while needed to provide the agreed reporting service or meet legal requirements. A client can unlink the manager account at any time and request deletion of stored reporting data by emailing vinnie.palazeti@indystats.com.

This public prototype stores no account data and makes no Google Ads API request. See the privacy policy for the site's current privacy commitments.

Implementation status

Available now: this server-rendered interface using deterministic synthetic data.

Private integration: a tenant-authenticated live reporting path is implemented for active, authorized manager-linked accounts. Its data is never used on this public demonstration page.

Current project goal: Basic Access for higher-volume production reporting after the live reporting path and account controls are verified. Basic Access has not been approved.
